When it comes to a healthy and easy breakfast, I for one sometimes find my self in a food rut. Once I find a smoothie that I like, I tend to use it day after day, however I have decided to branch out and try some other smoothie recipes that I can mix it up a bit with! So heres my banana, peanut butter and strawberry milkshake. I call it a milkshake because it is as creamy as one, as well as being full of flavour. This is a healthy, quick and tasty option for those with limited time in the mornings, or simply for a healthy snack over the day. I hope you enjoy it!
1 Large banana
1 tablespoon of dairy-free yoghurt (Pure Veda or Co Yo are great)
1 tablespoon of peanut butter ( I use an organic 100% peanut butter)
3 large strawberries
2 cups of vanilla bliss soy milk (Any nut milk/soy milk will do the trick, I just love the vanilla taste in this recipe!)
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence (optional)
Put all ingredients in a blender and put on high for about 30 seconds or until completely blended and enjoy!
